Roest Amsterdam
Roest (meaning rust) is a unique bar/restaurant and creative space in Amsterdam. In 2014 Roest asked for hand-painted signs with texts and illustrations that would draw the customers attention in a funny way. I painted the final designs in a raw and rustiq way on wood, so it would suit the industrial style of Roest nicely. The signs are minimalistic and have a warm vibe.
2 years later I returned to paint their latest interior decoration piece: an old war bomb! This is hanging above the bar now and looks great together with the earlier painted work.
